Music Recording and Audio-Post Production

Shock City Studios is largest audio recording facility in the Saint Louis region and is the only one with an “A” rating from the Better Business Bureau.

The Shock City staff of recording engineers and composers provides music recording, post-production services such as sound design and surround mixing, and original music composition for television and film. They have worked on projects from major labels such as RCA/Jive and Universal/Motown and for recording artists such as Dropkick Murphys, Pitbull, Erin Bode, and Chingy.

Shock City Studios has also completed radio and television projects for advertising agencies such as Maritz, Spot Creative, Group 360, Weremeyer, Osborne-Barr, Switch, and Fuze, who’s clients included HP, Monsanto, Sierre Energy, Anheuser Busch, and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.

Shock City’s film credits include audio post-production sound design, mix, and scoring for the films Fatal Call, The Makings Of You, 23 Minutes To Sunrise, Lake Windfall, and Casualties Of State.

The facility has also been the location for several television shows such as MTV’s "Made" and NBC’s "The Voice".

Shock City Studios and the Polar Wave Building have been honored with many design awards including “Class of 2009 Studio Design Award” from Mix Magazine, a Keystone Award for “Construction Excellence,” and a “Creative Renovation” award from Construction News and Review (CNR).
