The Shreveport Dog Park Alliance hopes to help attain funding to start a regional dog park in Hamel Memorial Park on the southern end of Clyde Fant Parkway, on the riverfront. So far our donations have come solely from you, the members of the community! Let's show our city that we as citizens want dog parks!
The Shreveport Dog Park Alliance got started In 2007 by a group of dog lovers who believe that a better Shreveport means amenities for dog owners. In December 2010, the group decided to join with ABetterShreveport and form a Dog Park Alliance Committee. The Committee's members are both ABetterShreveport members and other community leaders.
