• Sterile glass or plastic cups are used to create a vacuum suction on the skin.
• Improves circulation, commonly treats tight muscles and respiratory conditions
• Leaves a circular bruise, which lasts a few days.

How long is an appointment?
• Initial appointment: 1.25 hours
• Follow up appointments: 1 hr.

About the Acupuncturist, Herbalist: Margo Voskanian Lic. Ac.

Margo holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA). She is trained in Chinese Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, (Dipl. OM.) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is licensed in the state of Massachusetts by the Board of Registration in Medicine.

• Her clinical experience includes the NESA Clinic in Newton, and satellite clinics at the Shattuck Hospital, Jamaica Plain, and Pathways For Wellness, Boston, where she treated veterans.

• Margo was raised in Southboro, MA and she graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During her down time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling especially to the beach, and is involved in the Armenian Community. She is committed to balancing the body through alternative and integrative medicine.
