My name is Samantha Petty and I am the founder of Skin Deep Makeup Design. Skin Deep is a Philadelphia/Bucks County based company that provides freelance makeup artistry services. These services include makeup design for photography, runway, film, television, theater, personal lessons, group lessons (parties), weddings, proms, and special events. Skin Deep Makeup Design offers it's services in PA, NJ, DE, MD, and NY.

I am an experienced, certified MAC artist that is skilled in various application techniques. I've been working professionally as a make-up artist for almost 10 years, doing everything from photoshoots and weddings to body painting and HD television. I'm sure I will able to meet any need you might have.

Weddings

There is a minimum of 3 people required to book wedding makeup.

Full Face
Bride - $85
Attendants - $75

Airbrush
Bride - $100
Attendants - $85

A full face of makeup includes eye makeup, foundation, and lip product applications. I provide all of the makeup and tools that I will need to make you look and feel as beautiful as ever!

Just Eyes
Bride - $85 (full face pricing only)
Attendants - $60

A makeup application for just eyes includes shadow, primer, liner, and mascara.


Trials

$75 per trial, per person, for up to 3 hours of consultation time if needed.
Trials requiring more than 3 hours will be scheduled for an additional trial at a later date. Clients will be charged for another trial on that date.
Trials are subject to the travel rates and fees listed below.
$85 per trial for airbrush makeup.

Special Occasions and Events

Per person rate starting at $75 (full face pricing only)
Airbrush - per person rate starting at $100


Makeup Lessons

I provide personal and group makeup lessons at an hourly rate. There is a minimum booking time of 3 hours.
A lesson can be used to learn how to apply makeup on yourself or on other people. I offer basic as well as advanced application classes. These classes will teach you everything from color theory to contour. It will give you the ability to choose proper colors and products based on eye and face shapes. You will be able to create everything from glamour looks to runway looks. It's a great way to prepare for a makeup interview or a fun way to spice up a party.

Personal Lessons - $150 for up to 3 hours and $50 for every additional hour.
Group Lessons - $200 for up to 3 hours and $75 for every additional hour.


Photoshoots/Videoshoots

For photoshoots I charge an hourly rate. There is a minimum booking time of 1 hour.
Hourly Rate - $100 for first hour and $50 for every additional hour.


False Lashes

The fasle lashes I provide are strip lashes and are recommended for one day of use. They are not lash extensions and are not applied with an adhesive meant for extended wear. Lashes can be added to any makeup application at $10 per pair. At least 7 days notice should be given if you'd like lashes to ensure that I have them available.
If you provide your own strip lashes, I will apply them at a charge of $5 per pair.


Travel Rate

I will come to almost any location within driving distance.

Travel fees include:
Driving Time - $15 for up to one hour of driving to and from location of services and my business address. Rate of $10 for every additional hour.
Tolls - Client is responsible for all tolls accumulated during travel to and from location of services.
Parking - Client is responsible for any expenses accrued while parking at location of services.


Prices are subject to change depending on circumstances.


Booking information

When booking for your event, you will be asked to sign a contract and give a deposit to secure your event date.
Once the deposit is received, you have 7 days to cancel without penalty and your deposit will be refunded.
Deposits are non-refundable after 7 days of receipt or within 30 days of the event date, whichever comes first.

For Weddings, the deposit comes to the price of the Bride's makeup and pays for her makeup on the wedding date.
