The SCWGA season begins at the Evergreen State Fair and continues through the winter, coming to a close in March.
SCWGA has continued to grow over the years and has expanded to include several counties in Western Washington. Since its founding, SCWGA has maintained its goals of promoting patterned horse racing and preserving friendly, family competition by providing a place for riders of all ages and levels of ability to perform.
The SCWGA season begins with the Evergreen State Fair on Labor Day weekend each year. The season continues with shows once per month, except October and February, and is brought to a close with a two-day show in March. SCWGA wraps up its season with an annual awards banquet where all members and their families are invited to celebrate with one another.
All riders who attend the Evergreen State Fair are required to be memebers of Snohomish County Western Games. However, membership is not required at our other shows.
Riders must be an active member in good standing of SCWGA and ride at a minimum of three shows per season in order to qualify for year-end awards. Riders must also work the specified minimum at each show they attend in order to qualify for year-end awards.
Rule books with pattern information and a complete list of club rules can be purchased in the arena office or viewed online at www.scwga.com
