Soap Boxing Poetry Slam

Home of some of the best spoken word & performance poetry in the country. First Monday of every month at the Artists' Quarter in Downtown St. Paul.

Soap Boxing, the 2009 and 2010 National Poetry Slam champion, is one of the most respected and consistently impressive poetry slams in the world. All poets are welcome to sign up to perform, though we can't usually let everyone in the slam for time reasons. Have three poems ready, each one three minutes or less. Potential audience members-- performance poetry can be hilarious, emotional, inspiring, heart-wrenching and many other adjectives. Come check out one of the best shows in the Twin Cities!
