Soar Truckee, located in scenic Lake Tahoe, California, nestles in a valley of the Sierra Mountains, just three miles south of Interstate 80, at an elevation of 5,900'.

Staffed by experts in the sport of soaring, we offer glider rides over spectacular scenery. We also provide instruction, aero-tow, gift certificates, and other services for the clubs and individuals who love to fly with the eagles in this mountain environment.

If you would like to take a glider ride this Fall or Spring in the beautiful California foothills, come fly with us in Auburn, California.

We will be operating from the Auburn, CA Airport (weather permitting) for weekends only from October 4th 2014 through the end of November. We will reopen the Auburn glider ride business in March 2015 (plus a glider instruction program from the Lincoln CA Regional Airport, also in March).

Campsites available for pilots and their families. Public welcome/encouraged to visit and join us for the Saturday and holiday BBQs.
