Sonoma County Sol

YOU ARE MY SOL SHINE...

Founded in 2004, the Sonoma County Sol was formed to operate amateur, and perhaps some day professional, soccer teams for men around Sonoma County, California.

The Sol competes in the Western Division of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), commonly regarded as the 4th Division of US Soccer. We are a Non-Profit organization operated by our passionate volunteers. Our players have a wide ranging pedigree and consist of High School, College, Post-College, and Post-Professional players. Every year the club participates in the US Open Cup, a one hundred year old men’s soccer tournament beginning with amatuer teams and working it’s way up to the professional ranks including the MLS; the tournament is compared to the FA Cup in England.

The club takes pride in playing offensive, attacking style soccer. Our players care as much about the result of their matches as they do about putting on a great show for our supporters. As fans of the beautiful game, we expect our games to be high scoring and to play in our opponents half. Sit back and enjoy the show!
