Southampton Volunteer Ambulance - Emergency- 911

Southampton Volunteer Ambulance Corp members provide emergency medical and trauma support to those in need: 24/7.

Southampton Volunteer Ambulance (SVA) was founded by the separation of the V.F.W. Dunes post in 1989. The dunes post separated into Southampton Volunteer Ambulance Inc. and the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance. Southampton Volunteer Ambulance covers approximately 48 square miles and borders with Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance, Bridgehampton Fire Department, Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance, and Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance. SVA answered approximately 1000 emergency calls in 2012, up over 400 calls from 2009. SVA operates three advanced life support ambulances, as well as three basic life support equipped first responder vehicles and one ALS equipped first responder. SVA's membership consists of three Paramedics, seven EMT-CC's, twenty one EMT's, ten driver's, and thirteen assistants. All fifty four of our members give their time to help those in need of medical attention twenty four hours a day.
