The Animal League is a 501 (3)(c) non profit animal rescue dedicated to creating a community where no healthy pet is euthanized due to lack of space.
The League does not receive funding from state or government
entities but relies solely on the support of the community - sponsors and volunteers. One of the League's most important sources of operating income is its Thrift Shop located in downtown Clermont.

Adoption Fees: our fees typically do not cover the cost of the care our pets receive as all of our intakes are abused, neglected or abandoned, unwanted pets and most often require special care.
Our average cost of saving each pet exceeds our adoption fee.
All of our pets are up to date on vaccines appropriate to age and condition. This includes DHPP or FVRCP (cats), Bordetella, Rabies.
All dogs of age are tested for heart-worms and cats of age are tested for Feline Leukemia and Aids
Each pet has also received appropriate treatment for parasite control and prevention for the length of their stay
All of our pets are micro-chipped with registration.
Every pet at appropriate age is spayed or neutered.
kittens and puppies require a series of vaccines, parasite control and special care
