The Police Explorers is a program for students who are interested in Law Enforcement. They are taught the basics of what police officers are trained to do, they assist in community events, department training, and also compete in local, state, and national competitions.
To be a member of the South Miami Police Explorers you must be between the ages of 14-20, in high school and College (to apply), have no criminal record, maintain a "C" average, and must be able to attend meetings and events.
