Founded in 1988 by Carol Mitchell Lee, the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Inc, (SPWRC) is the only licensed wildlife rehabilitation center within several hundred miles of Lubbock, Texas. How much does it cost to keep our doors open to wildlife?

With an annual budget of $95,000, our source of funding comes from grants, private individuals, interest groups, newsletters, fundraisers, and education programs. We are a 501(c)(3) IRS designate non-profit organization; therefore donations can be tax credited to the fullest extent allowed by law. To donate, you may make your checks payable to SPWRC and mail them to the address above. (Please, include your name and address so that an acknowledgment letter can be sent to you.)
