From our famous Kebabs, to our craft beers, award winning street fries & veggie dishes, we believe that every bite and sip should be rich and flavorful.
Spitz founders Bryce Rademan and Robert Wicklund began laying he groundwork for their hip eatery while attending Occidental College. Bryce first discovered Doner Kebabs while studying in Madrid, Spain. He was so taken, that he immediately began crafting a plan to bring the mouth-watering cuisine back home with him to Los Angeles. He convinced law school-bound Robert to change course.
Together they built the first European-style Doner Kebab restaurant in Los Angeles, and in so doing, they raised the bar on all upscale quick-service eateries. They were determined to insure that the food quality, ambiance and customer service would never be sacrificed. That means nearly everything, from the meals to the sauces, are made daily in-house. The air is alive with music, art, and revelry. Spitz's bond with their customers is genuine and sincere.
With these principals as a guide, Spitz Restaurants transformed a European street food into a flavorful, fresh, and healthy culinary sensation. All produce is picked by hand each morning in the LA produce markets, and breads are delivered fresh from local artisan bakeries.
Our craft beers are primarily composed of local brews hailing from Santa Barbara through San Diego. LA’s own Eagle Rock Manifesto is on tap, with another local favorite, Golden Road, available by the can. While the decor is modeled on the local street art scene.
