Founded in Orlando, Florida in February of 1997, Sport Specific Training Group (SST) provides sports medicine and sports performance services to individuals of all levels and abilities.
The original concept was to teach young athletes how to improve their performance. As we conducted camps and clinics throughout Central Florida, it became apparent to us that there was a need for a quality sports medicine component to compliment the programs we were already offering.
Our first clinic opened in December of 1998 and this south Orlando locaiton has since expanded to over 8000 square feet and includes a high-quality turf surface for functional and performance training.
We recently opened a new clinic within the D1 sports training facility in Lake Mary, Florida as part of this 24,000 square foot sports performance/sports medicine complex.
