One of the Bay Area's largest non profit performing arts institutions, the Stapleton School is home to the Stapleton Ballet and the Stapleton Theatre Company. The Ballet division offers classical ballet training in a supportive and nurturing environment, for children as young as 2.5 years through adults. Performing opportunities enhance the ballet training: an annual Nutcracker production the first weekend in December at the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium; a spring production; and end of year demonstrations in early June. The Stapleton Theatre Company produces three multigenerational musical theater shows each year, including an annual musical production of A Christmas Carol.
