Sterling Women was originally founded in 2008 to provide a new networking opportunity for business women in the Sterling, Virginia area. The quality of our speakers and the interest from our sponsors has boosted the overwhelming popularity of our new organization. Word has spread across Loudoun and beyond! While we plan to honor the program’s initial intent and continue to bring Sterling professionals together, we want to also encourage the monthly gathering of business women from across Loudoun, as well as outside its borders. Ultimately we will all benefit!

Regarding our geographical address, we are women of sterling quality — professionals who work hard at our endeavors and business leaders in our own communities!

We hope to attract women to our events who do not normally network. We also hope that women who are employed by some of Loudoun’s larger businesses will attend our events (AOL, Orbital Sciences, Network Solutions, Verizon, to name a few). To attract this market, our lunches will be one hour, starting at noon and ending at 1:00 PM. Optional networking will be available from 11:00 AM until noon and again from 1:00 to 1:30 PM. Vendor tables and exciting door prizes will be featured.
