St. John Lutheran School provides Bible-based grade school education. Our Child Development Center provides early-childhood education and childcare for families.

St. John Lutheran Church serves the community of Seward and the surrounding area with the Good News – the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus’ love for us, we share that love with those around us. We invite you to join us for worship and Bible class in order to discover more about the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

St. John is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, a church body that holds to the authority and truth of Scipture and proclaims Christ crucified for our forgiveness and for our salvation. We believe that the Bible is truly God's Word. Our prayer is to be faithful to the truth of God's Word in our preaching, teaching, and living. We believe the Book of Concord (three ecumenical creeds, the Augsburg Confession and its Apology, etc) to be a correct exposition of Scripture. Above all, our wish is for you to see Jesus, our Savior from sin!
