High Quality. Affordable. Infused by the Liberal Arts.
Connected to the Community. www.stockton.edu/busn
Educating south Jersey’s next generation of business people has been part of Stockton University since its beginnings almost 40 years ago. However, the School of Business has only recently (summer of 2007) separated out to be its own academic unit, allowing a new focus and renewed energy on serving business students and the community.
The School of Business offers undergraduate programs in Business Studies, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Computer Science and Information Systems and a graduate MBA program. We thoroughly prepare students in their professional disciplines but take pride on incorporating the best of the liberal arts tradition as well. Our students then know not only accounting or hospitality controls or JAVA programming, but also are skilled in critical thinking, communication, thinking globally, working within a diverse workforce and understanding the greater world around them.
Our faculty excel in the classroom, taking advantage of Stockton’s small classes to provide class experiences tailored to their participants and personal attention. Out of the classroom, we also have a broad range of student activities thus making connections to the business world and providing leadership development opportunities. Stockton’s faculty and Centers are connected to and work with the Atlantic City, south Jersey, and even global business community. In short, we provide an educational experience personal in nature but global in scope.
Please explore the rest of our Web site to learn more about our programs, our faculty, our students, and our associated Centers --- and all the opportunities that pursuing a degree in Business, Hospitality, or Computer Science and Information Systems at Stockton affords. Please contact us if you have specific questions that we have not covered on this site. We're quite sure that the more you learn about our programs, the more you'll know that a Stockton Business education may be the best investment you will ever make.
