The Summer Scholars Program hopes to attract tomorrows researchers! Scholars spend the vast majority of their time during the summer in the laboratory- where they pursue a guided but independent research project.
Each Scholar will work on an independent project under the direction of a Principal Investigator. Topics include Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, Transcriptional Regulation of Genes, and Neuroscience. Scholars will have opportunities to interact and collaborate with other members of their laboratory and the Stowers community as a whole. In this way, Scholars will experience not only the intellectual but also the collaborative spirit of research. In addition, Scholars will have opportunities to familiarize themselves with the latest techniques in laboratories and supporting core facilities that are equipped with the most advanced technology.
