Supported through an 9 person board of directors, and following the Four Point Main Street Program: Operations, Design, Economic Restucturing and Promotions. SDA has two employees: A full time Executive Director: Laurie Miller and a part time Administrative Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator: Patty Pennel. All events and activities are not possible without our incredible volunteers.
Supports, hosts and sponsors annual monthly activities and festivals. Acts as a liaison between the local merchants and the City of Sumner. Educates community on historic preservation, economic development and design.
