The Syracuse University Libraries' collections and services enable learning, scholarship and knowledge creation.
Syracuse University has more than one library. Bird Library is the largest library on campus and houses materials in the humanities and social sciences, along with audio and video, government publications, and maps. Bird offers a variety of study spaces, technology, and expert assistance. It is also home to the Special Collections Research Center, administrative offices, Pages café, and the Belfer Audio Archive.
Other libraries include the Carnegie Library (housing collections Q-Z), located in the Carnegie Building on the Quad. Heroy Hall hosts the Geology Library, and you will find the Architecture Reading Room in Slocum Hall.
The Syracuse University Libraries Facility ("The Facility") is a newly-constructed 20,000 square foot high-density storage facility that will house approximately 1.2 million volumes.
