The Taft College Womens Basketball team plays in the Central Valley Conference. Our schedule includes games in both Southern and Northern California. We have had a very successful program and many of our players have transferred to 4-year college all over the nation.

I believe that we have some advantages in Taft College that you may not find elsewhere. We feel we have a better financial aid package available to all students than any other Community College in California as well as most four-year schools. Our program also rewards those with strong academics. We have dorms, a cafeteria and an on-campus student work study program. We also have a book loan program to help offset the high cost of textbooks as well as a free tutorial program.

We are located thirty-six miles west of Bakersfield and about two hours north of Los Angeles. Because of our location, we do quite a bit of traveling during our season. I welcome you to come and visit the school. I can set up a tour for you to see our campus. A visit will also give you an opportunity to meet other players on the current team.
