Taylorsville Police Department provides 24 hour coverage to the residence of Taylorsville and Spencer County. Our primary service is to the citizens of the City of Taylorsville but we do have county wide jurisdiction and will make any call to anyone in need to insure public safety. Also the Taylorsville Police Department has 2 officers assigned to Spencer County Public Schools as School Resource officers.
