Tecumseh At Tuckabatchee

An Outdoor Historic Drama about Tecumseh's visit to Tuckabatchee (Tallassee, AL). PERFORMANCES: OCTOBER 4 & 5, 2014. Education Day Fri, Oct 3rd

A live, outdoor dramatization of Tecumseh's bold speech to the Creek Nation Council of 1811 and of daily life in the Creek "capitol" or head town of Tuckabatchee. The performance is interwoven with Cultural dance, story & song from members of the Oklahoma Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

2014 dates: Saturday evening (OCT 4th) 7pm. Sunday matinee (OCT 5th) 4pm.

EDUCATION DAY is Friday 9am - 1pm. Features Muscogee(Creek) traditions, cooking, native flute performance, Alabama pioneer life, re-enactor encampment, historical presentations on fur, tools and goods trading - and much more!
