TCAT-Morristown is one of 27 Technology Centers located throughout Tennessee. TCAT-Morristown is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
Established as a statewide system by an enactment of Legislature during the 1963 General Assembly, the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology operate under the governance of the Tennessee Board Of Regents.
Each College is designed to serve both youth and adults in specified geographic areas. This is in fulfillment of the express intent of the General Assembly that ultimately there would be a center, or centers, within a reasonable commuting distance for every citizen of Tennessee. TCAT-Morristown remains committed to the education of a non-racially identifiable student body and promotes diversity and access without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
