The bell’s toll beckons the congregation. It clangs inside a simple tower rising almost seven stories above the trees and grass and sandy paths at the northernmost point of the community. The nondenominational Seaside Interfaith Chapel, the tallest building in town, welcomes believers of all faiths. The design is breathtaking in its simplicity. In its cleanness. Its steeply pitched roof shelters the board and batten wood walls and heart pine floors. The abundance of windows invites the light from dawn until dusk.
Seems fitting that the highest point in Seaside towers above those seeking higher power.
