The Clothesline opened in 1981 and today operates under the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene along with 6 sister churches:

The Clothesline provides new and nearly-new clothing and linens - lots of brand names including Christopher and Banks, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor,Croft and Barrow, Old Navy, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Carters, Abercrombie, Abercrombie and Fitch, Gap - to the community at very reasonable prices and free of charge in emergency circumstances. All profits are returned to over 40 organizations of Miami County and the 7 participating churches. The Clothesline operates under the umbrella of the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene and an advisory board of Clothesline volunteers from all participating churches.

Our Volunteers:

Over 160 faithful servant volunteers enjoy doing the Lord's work through the Clothesline:

1. Clerks and substitute clerks staff the shop during open hours.
2. Sorters check the clothing donations on Monday evenings.
3. Jills (and Jacks) of all trades hang, price and display clothing on Wednesdays.
4. Organizers prepare the shop for business on Wednesdays.
