I am Greg Culverhouse and I am living the dream and would like to share it with you.

I have loved to fish for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in Waco and have been catching fish out of Lake Waco since I was 5. My dad and grandfather would take me fishing every chance they could. I would get so excited about going fishing the next day that I would not be able to sleep the night before. Most times I am still the same way, you can ask my wife.

Fishing is my passion. I still get that "thrill" every time I feel one get on the hook. I get the same "thrill" when I see other people's faces light up when they get that same experience as well. That is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I especially enjoy taking children. I take great pride in the fact that I am able to be a positive influence for children in todays world of X-boxes and text messaging youth. Fishing can instill a great many values in chldren and I feel fortunate to be able to share this with others.

I offer guided fishing trips suited to clients’ needs and wants. I target three main species of fish, white bass, hybrid bass, and crappie. I have done trips in the past for gar. I can do catfish as well. I listen to my clients and will ask them questions as to the type of fishing they are expecting, such as fast pace, or more of a mellow relaxing trip. I will then recommend a certain style of trip based on this information and current fishing conditions. We will set a time and date them meet at a certain location, usually a boat ramp near to where we will be fishing. After the trip I take the fish home and clean and bag the catch and then will meet my clients and give them their fish. Some clients come to my house and relax while I am cleaning the fish. If we do a night trip then we will normally meet the next day and then I give them their fish. I furnish all tackle and bait. I have an assortment of rods and reels from beginner to advance for my clients. Basically, all the client has to do is show up, catch fish, and go home. My trips are not limited to one type of fish. If we are not catching whites then we will go after crappie. The same is true if we limit out on one fish and the clients want to catch more, then we will switch to a different species.
I use a 21 foot center console fishing boat. The boat is very roomy and stable. I can fish four adults easily. It has 2 captains chair seats, 2 bench style seats, a center bench seat, a butt seat, and the helm seat which is a large cooler. I furnish water and soft drinks. I recommend to clients to bring some snacks and their favorite beverage. I like to put all food and drinks in my seat cooler to avoid clutter on the boat.
