Welcome to the Official Facebook Page for The Diamond P Ranch where we have been hosting horseback rides into the beautiful mountains surrounding West Yellowstone since 1953. We are located 7 miles west of the west gate to Yellowstone National Park, in the city of West Yellowstone, Montana, and 6 miles northeast of Island Park, Idaho. We offer guided horseback riding for all ages through the Gallatin National Forest, which surround West Yellowstone. We are open from Memorial Day weekend through September 30th each year. You can choose from 3 different ride options on any day except Sunday when we will offer one ride choice that day. The rides are very relaxing as you meander past mountain streams, varieties of local timber, mostly lodge pole pine and quaking aspen, and drown in the color of the wild mountain flowers. The colors will peak, usually, in late June. We will even be able to stop during the ride and pick some fresh wild strawberries and huckleberries in late July. You will also be able to see all kinds of wildlife and native birds on your ride.
