Let us welcome you Nashville style. Where luxury is casual and music is always in the air. This unique, 136 acre property was once the estate of Country Music legend Barbara Mandrell. Now it’s home to Fontanel. Quiet gardens, a flowing waterfall and pond, and rolling wooded hills at your doorstep. Award-winning cuisine and live music across the way, and only a 15 minute ride to the happenin’ Honkeytonks downtown where you find everything Nashville.

Inspired by Middle Tennessee farmhouse style, and built to look as if it has always been there, you will find no other luxury hotel as warm and welcoming as the Inn at Fontanel. As part of Southern Living Magazine’s 24-year tradition of building an annual Idea House in the south, Fontanel was the chosen site.

It has now been transformed from the 2013 Southern Living Idea House to our highly acclaimed Luxury Boutique Hotel. From intimate family gatherings to a romantic getaway, your stay at the Inn will be an experience you will treasure for a lifetime.

The five-structure hotel, connected by 2,700 square feet of deck with plush patio furniture overlooks a stunning courtyard of gardens and a view of Porter’s Pond with its bubbling fountain and waterfall.

There are six unique suites from which to choose, each providing all the amenities you would expect in a luxury environment. Simply escape, let go and let us take care of you.

Guest Common Areas
The great room is the common gathering area for all guests and features an honor system wet bar. Clerestory windows complement the soaring cathedral ceiling and flood the area with sunlight, providing an open, airy feel. The kitchen and dining room are open at all times. A complimentary, upscale continental breakfast is served from 6 AM – 10 AM.

King Guest House Suite
With a King size bed, sitting area with fireplace, kitchenette, and luxury bathroom, the King Guest Suite provides a perfect romantic getaway. An outdoor patio completes the ambience.

Inn at Fontanel Suite
The Inn at Fontanel Suite is the most luxurious of all. It adjoins the main portion of the five-room hotel structure. A private entrance leads through a stunning library and sitting room, then into the king size bedroom suite. It features a walk-in closet and cavernous bathroom complete with a luxury soaking tub and marble open space shower.

Queen Guest House Suite
A private entrance leads upstairs to a beautifully decorated Queen Suite with fabric wall coverings to match the room’s unique décor. Offers a beautiful courtyard view.

Carriage House Suite
Decorated luxuriously with a Queen size bed, side bar, and roof top patio, the Carriage House suite makes for an isolated and cozy retreat.

Queen Bed North Bunkie and South Bunkie
Both Bunkies are detached from the main estate structure with an outdoor patio, two queen beds each in a beautifully appointed suite complete with kitchenette and stunning courtyard views.
