The Freemasons have been at this location since 1911 quietly serving the community of Kansas City. Many of the historical names of Kansas City have been members here!
Built in 1911 A shining example of Neo-Classical Architecture. In the Beaux Arts Greek Revival tradition. The building was built by the Masonic Fraternity and has been in continual use by them to the present day. The building is richly ornamented with Corinthian details in the main hallways and other specific schools of Greek and other architecture in the other rooms. In addition to the 3 meeting rooms there is the 450 seat Tiffany Ballroom; that features amazing plaster columns and a beautiful Tiffany glass window array. We also have a Gothic Cathedral detailed 700 seat theater (including a balcony and a raised stage) with a 102 pipe Esty organ with flying buttress. The building also has several business offices. A true Masonic master piece! One must see it to believe it.
