The story of Therrien Waddell Inc. begins in 1972 with the meeting of Jerry Therrien and Donnie Waddell. For more than 40 years, the two have worked side by side in the construction industry, their careers peaking in the company they currently own: Therrien Waddell construction Group. They grew through the ranks of general contracting and construction management, working on shopping centers, office buildings, laboratories and institutional facilities.
In 1987, the pair managed the construction arm as co-owners of a local development company based in Montgomery County, Md. In January 2005, Donnie and Jerry spun off the construction operations, establishing
Therrien Waddell Inc. and continuing to headquarter their business out of Gaithersburg, Md. Today, with 28 employees and families, the company relies on relationships built over the years with clients, subcontractors and vendors – with focus on commercial businesses located in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia and Baltimore metropolitan areas.
