The City Beautification Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers commissioned by the Thomasville City Council to oversee all beautification projects for our town and create an awareness of the beautification of our town.
The idea is that through the committee's efforts and through awareness, Thomasville benefits in terms of Economic Development and recruitment, as well as a sense of pride in a clean and beautiful community.
Projects this committee is responsible for include the planting of the flower beds at the Welcome signs, the Big Chair, the fountain downtown, the mini-park and the bed at the intersection of Julian Avenue and Randolph St.
The City Beautification Committee meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the Board Room of City Hall, 10 Salem St. unless otherwise notified.
