Thornton Racing Team race a 1963 Corvette Replica with a 3000 horsepower twin turbo engine in the Pacific Street Car Association's top category Pro Street. Racing since 2001 the team has amassed nearly 20 race wins en route to 4 PSCA Pro Street championships including 3 in a row from 2003 - 2005 and again in 2007. The vehicle weighs in at 2850 lbs on the start line and features a 513 cubic inch big block chevy using racing gasoline with 91mm turbochargers to produce upwards of 3000 horsepower at 38 PSI of boost pressure. The engine is controlled by a MoTeC M800 Engine Management System coupled to a MoTeC CDI-8 Ignition box with a MoTeC ADL Dash logger for data acquisition all calibrated by Shane Tecklenburg (Tuned By Shane T)
