Tiger Martial Arts, LLC
We teach the Korean Martial Art of Hapkido.
Hapkido: is a defensive soft-style that covers circular motion, non-resisting movements, and control of the opponent. Students seek to gain advantage through footwork and body positioning to employ leverage, avoiding the use of strength against strength. This style also covers powerful strikes (kicks, hand strikes, and blocks) and various weapons to stop a threat. Private lessons are available upon request.
We have a regular Hapkido program for 15 and up and a Junior Hapkido program for 7 - 14 year olds.
Our instructors/owners are Paul Johnson Sr., Paul Johnson Jr., and Duane M. Simpson. Between them they have 60 plus years of experience in martial arts. All instructors are constantly working on self-improvement and training in martial arts. We are a United States Korean Martial Arts Federation and Korean Ki Do Association school.
All our owners have black belts in Tang Soo Do and have also studied other martial art styles over the years. After many years of training they have determined that Hapkido provides the best flexibility to deal with today’s threats.
