HISTORY:
Over the past 7yrs Tioga Baseball/Phillies RBI League has grown in many ways. We have over 150 Boys and Girls playing at 3 levels of Organized Baseball.

T. Ball: 5yrs-7yrs old
AA Pitching Machine: 7yrs- 10yrs old
AAA- Live Pitching: 9yrs- 11 yrs old
*Majors: 11yrs- 14 yrs old

LEVELS of PLAY:

T. BALL: 5yrs- 7 yrs old
Is an Introduction to Baseball. Children will learn the fundamentals & mechanics of the game, practice good sportsmanship while having fun.

AA-PITCHING MACHINE: 7yrs-10yrs old
Works on development of fundamental Baseball Skills. The focus will be on building good mechanics, work habits and Baseball knowledge while having fun.

LEVEL 3 & 4: AAA & MAJORS
9yrs- 14 yrs old
All the Basic skills of the Little League Baseball Team with Umpires and Live Pitching.

Our History:
Over the past seven(7) years Tioga Baseball/Phillies RBI League has grown in many ways. We now have over 150 boys and girls playing at three levels of organized baseball. (T-Ball ages 5-7), (AA-Pitching Machine ages 8 -10), (AAA ages9 –10) (Majors 11- 12), and this year adding 14-16 year old team. Not only has our program grown in numbers, the quality of instruction has grown as well. This can be seen in the improved play on our fields each year. We have been able to grow and improve the program while maintaining the things we value most about the league. We are all especially proud of our ability to provide every child with an opportunity to play and learn in a positive, supportive environment. We have also forged a partnership and support from the Mt.Airy community by playing goodwill baseball games with their league age appropriate teams. Using baseball to bridge communities.
Levels of play T-Ball ages (6 thru 8) an introduction to baseball. Children learn some fundamental mechanics, practice good sportsmanship and have fun.
Pitching Machine level II, ages (8 thru11) works on the development of fundamental baseball skills. The focus is on developing good mechanics, work habits and baseball knowledge and having fun.
Level III and IV, all the baseball basic skills of little league baseball with umpires and live pitching.

Baseball Registration for the Up-coming 2014 Season will be every Saturday in Feburary and March. The sign up location is Mount Ephraim Baptist Church located at 22nd and Tioga Street Phila. Pa. 19140. The time will be 10am until 12:30pm.
