Youth Rodeo Organization for contestants ages 5 to 18 years of age. Franchised through the National Little Britches Rodeo Association. Non-profit.
Little Britches Rodeo is one of the oldest continuing junior rodeos in the nation. Held annually the end of March/First of April. Awards, cash payouts, scholarships and door prizes. Vendors and sponsorship available. Family dinner hosted by the Elks Lodge on Saturday evening. Christian fellowship on Sunday morning.
The age groups are: (Age determined as of August 1, at 12:00am of the current rodeo year)
Little Wranglers – 5 through 8
Events: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tail Untying, Flag Racing
Junior Boys – 9 through 13
Events: Steer/Bull Riding, Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying, Flag Racing, Dally Ribbon Roping(Jr. Boys and/or Girls team event), Team Roping – (Jr. Boys and/or Girls team event)
Junior Girls – 9 through 13
Events: Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Trail Course, Pole Bending, Dally Ribbon Roping(Jr. Boys and/or Girls team event), Team Roping – (Jr. Boys and/or Girls team event)
Senior Boys – 14 through 18
Events: Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Team Roping & Ribbon Roping – (Sr. Boys and/or Girls team event)
Senior Girls – 14 through 18
