TU Choirs comprised mainly of undergraduate ensemble specializing in the highest quality choral literature from all style periods.
The Department of Music at Towson University currently offers 6 choral/vocal ensembles. The University Chorale, Women's Chorus, and Men's Chorus are Towson University’s premiere undergraduate ensembles specializing in the highest quality choral literature from all style periods. Students from every major across the campus come together to engage in great music making in a collaborative and professional environment. University Chorale has participated in performances with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and has toured regionally, nationally, and internationally, most recently to Scotland. The ensembles have also had a history of civic engagement through outreach performances and collaboration with regional high schools, churches, and other organizations.
