The NMC Extended Education English as a Second Language class begins on April 22. We are always looking for new students to join our learning community. Over the past five years, we have helped over 150 students improve their language and employment skills. The class is open to students of all ages and nationalities who have at least a basic command of the English language.
Each semester, we study grammar and vocabulary through a variety of engaging activities including conversation and role play. There are many opportunities for students to develop their writing skills, fine tune their pronunciation, and practice conversations. Students also learn more about American culture, discuss issues related to the workplace, and prepare for further education.
English as a Second Language classes run throughout the year right here in beautiful Traverse City. Call Northwestern Michigan College Extended Education office for more information or to register for the next session.
