Tucker's Trainings is dedicated to helping you save lives, and money, with the use of CPR, First-Aid, AED, Defensive Driving, and Anger Management.
Tucker's Trainings was founded on the belief that every person has the ability to learn how to Save Lives.
Born and raised in Elmira, NY, John Tucker has dedicated his life to helping others in and around his community. He began while working at Glove House, and then went on to work for New York State Office of Persons With Developmental Disablilities. Afterwards, John went on to Corning Community College where he graduated Cum Laude and with Program Honors, received the Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology Award and Tutored in The Writing Center. He then went on to work for Chemung ARC and Tompkins Community Action.
John has been very active in his community. In 2004 he was awarded the Volunteer of The Year Award from the Economic Opportunity Program for his work with Head Start in Elmira, NY. He also coached, served as a Board Member, served two years as Vice-President, and two years as President of Huck Finn Little League Baseball in Elmira, NY.
The one thing all of his employments had in common was helping people learn. Whether it was learning how to perform daily living skills, anger management, or reading and writing John always went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the skills were taught correctly and understood.
Today, John brings his passion for helping and teaching others in the form of formal instruction of American Heart Association CPR/AED/First-Aid, American Safety Inc. New York State Defensive Driver, New York State Parks Department Boater Safety Course, and the National Mental Health Association 4-Hour On-line Anger Management Course. You can rest assured that John will share his passion and knowledge with you in a relaxed, fun and educational atmosphere.
