Two Rivers Dog Mushers Association
The Two Rivers Dog Musher's Association represents dog mushers and dog-powered sports fans working together to achieve these important goals:
To promote the sport of dog mushing, and to organize races, social events, fund raising events, etc. in the Two Rivers area.
To maintain the winter trail system along Chena Hot Springs Road. Trail work priorities are:
- The Winter Trail (Chena Sled Trail) from Nordale Road to Angel Creek.
- TRDMA race trails
- Other trails as directed by the trails committee
To address trail issues relating to the interests of the dog mushers in the Two Rivers area to include zoning, trail rights of way, road crossings, government regulations, etc.
To mentor youth and mushers in the ethical treatment of sled dogs
Meetings are held the first Monday every month (except for holidays - will be following Monday)
