Air Force Emergency Managers are trained to enter hazardous environments to detect, monitor, and sample for CBRN or other hazardous materials. They evaluate man-made or natural disasters to mitigate impacts on AF assets and to reduce or neutralize any threats to the mission. Emergency Managers are responsible for managing the command and control of installation emergency operations.
