Committed to fostering strong school partnerships throughout NWA & to assisting U of A education students navigate the path to teacher certification.

The Office of Field Placement and Licensure in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas secures schools to be utilized for undergraduate observation, places student teaching interns, and maintains partnerships with local schools. Field experience is an essential part of our teacher education programs. The OFPL places over 1,000 students in nearly 20 school districts every year. We also serve as the central source of information on Arkansas educator licensure requirements and regulations for U of A students and constituents.
