The Barney School of Business is committed to assurance of learning program. The purpose of this process is to examine the degree to which students are achieving the learning goals of the program in which they are enrolled and/or to identify changes that will lead to their success in achieving the learning goals.

The School distinguishes itself through its Career Focused Business Education program. We prepare students to be successful business leaders and to apply their knowledge in their field. In addition to classroom knowledge, we have distinct programs for undergraduates, graduates, and executive students. The programs include workshops, networking opportunities, speaker series, mentoring opportunities, and more.

The Barney School of Business takes pride in the fact that our full time faculty members hold a doctoral degree (PhD). The faculty specializes in variety of areas including the Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Insurance, Marketing, Management, Tax and much more. In addition, adjunct faculty members integrate real world work experiences in their classroom teaching, along with incorporating the text book applications.

The Barney School, in pursuit of its mission to prepare leaders and decision makers who are globally aware, offers several different study-abroad courses and strongly encourages faculty and student participation in international activities. The school has a strong international presence with students, faculty and guests coming from more than 60 countries around the globe.
