The EMS Club aims to raise awareness about health and public safety at the University of New Haven.
With partnership from the Allingtown Volunteer Fire Assosciation, UNH Campus Police, UNH Student Activities, and the University Student Government Association, the EMS Club creates many oppurtunities for students and factuly to earn more knowledge in the fields of health, emergency medicine, and public safety. EMS Club members have the opportunity for experiential education as EMTs or Firefighters by participating in stand-bys or riding with the local fire department.
Non-certified members have many opportunities to help the club with logistics, staffing informational tables, and creating events for the campus.
UNH students will be able to attend our training events such as CPR and First-Aid courses, attend our health-themed events held for the campus, and find out more information on certain topics at our informational tables.
