The WCC is a student committee of UTK's Central Program Council that provides programs focusing on women's issues. Find us in the Women's Center in the UC (Suite 305)!
The Women's Coordinating Council is one of the seven programmatic committees that comprise the Central Program Council under the auspices of the Office of Student Activities. Our programs span a range of activities including prominent speakers, entertainers, film and video presentations, and interactive workshops relating to issues that affect women in today's society. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome at WCC events and programs, and many events also allow for public attendance.
WCC membership is open to all full-time students (including graduate students) at the University of Tennessee, pending an application process. If you are interested in joining, please visit this page:

Please feel free to visit the Women’s Center in Suite 315 of the University Center! UTK's Women's Center is very special because it was the first at any college or university in the entire country. It is a place for all women and those interested in issues relevant to women. It has a library for research on women’s issues, and an extensive resource and referral network for organizations at UTK and within the Knoxville community. The Women’s Center offers a place for informal conversation, study, and resources for all.
