The Vail Valley Charitable Fund, Inc. (VVCF) provides direct aid grants to locals facing a financial hardship due to a medical crisis or long-term illness. Applications for Assistance can be downloaded from our website at www.vvcf.org. Applications are reviewed by our Board of Directors on a monthly basis and evaluated based on the severity of illness, length of time in our valley, involvement in the community, and personal attempts by the applicant to address his/her financial crisis. The VVCF also partners with community members to hold a fundraiser to provide additional support to local families in crisis. In the VVCF's 15 year history, we have raised and distributed more than $5 million to over 1,000 families in Eagle County. Our efforts are designed to help families focus on recovery, and each other, rather than the financial burden resulting from their illness.
