2014 marks the 22nd Anniversary Celebration of the Valhalla Renaissance Faire in South Lake Tahoe.

Romp through Elizabethan England, immerse yourself in an olde world adventure set in a beautifully wooded Camp Richardson. Rub elbows with nobility, pirates, barbarians and beautiful ladies. Take on thrilling shows featuring juggling, music, comedic storytelling and feats of incredible physical skills.

This year's Valhalla Renaissance Faire will feature four stages of continuous entertainment, action packed shows, music, dancing, jesters, 900 costumed actors in streets, Shakespearean vignettes, expertly staged battles, storytelling for children and adults, archery tournaments and much more.

Shop over 100 merchants selling a wide array of arts and crafts, one of a kind jewelry items, woodcrafts, artwork, ceramics, clothing, historic weapons and leather goods. And to top it all off, a hard hitting joust. - This is a place to be!

Two weekends of fun & excitement for the whole family!!!

First Weekend:
Scottish invasion! The first weekend is geared more toward younger audiences with tons of shows, dancing, theater plays, music and magic for your whole family. Inspire your children to learn about Shakespeare or the Renaissance by dressing up for the weekend. Enter Costume contests, Stroll through a maze, play tons of games and get drenched too at court of St. Aidens!

Second Weekend:
Pirate and Barbarian Hordes invade the festivities on the second weekend. Let loose and have a jolly good time while you participate in Scavenger Hunts, Costume contests, and a Talk Like a Pirate Competitions.

School & Family Day
Thursday June 5th we welcome students from surrounding districts to learn about the Renaissance Period. And, we will open the faire for the Family Day June 6th. The event is offered to the public, private, and home-schooled students, sponsors, and their families. School day allows young people and families to experience first-hand the life, culture, and history of the Renaissance Period. Emphasis will be spent on interactive and educational presentations, entertaining stage performances, culminating in a Grand Joust that will cap off the day.
