Connect Realty agent, Vance Tomlin was born in Tennessee, raised in New Orleans, and finally settled in Houston 15 years ago, where he now resides. He loves the diversity of the city that emanates through the people, the neighborhoods, the restaurants, and the entertainment. He also enjoys having sports year-round, both professional and college.

Vance graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor’s in Business and spent many years working in the corporate world as a CFO/Controller. While he enjoyed this portion of his career and excelled at it, he grew to dislike the everyday confines of an office environment. With his many years in finance and his love for meeting and working with new people, Vance knew that real estate was the career for him. He retired from his corporate job and obtained his real estate license in 2010.

After he earned his real estate license, he decided to join Connect Realty because he liked the level of technology offered to agents and clients. He felt it was far superior to the other brokerages he had checked out and that his future clients would be taken care of in an efficient manner at Connect Realty. He was drawn to the fact that Connect takes a genuine personal interest in its agents and their clients. Vance’s success as a realtor is proof that he made the right choice by switching industries. He now specializes in working with buyers, luxury homes, and commercial land deals, but is experienced, capable and anxious to exceed client expectations on any real estate deal!

Vance is extremely determined to get the best deal for his clients and he does not stop until they are satisfied with the result of his work. He makes himself available to clients 24/7. He feels it is important that they are informed and up-to-date from the time the transaction begins to the time it closes, and his mission is to constantly update, educate and inform his clients every step of the way.

When he isn’t showing homes, meeting with clients, closing deals, or answering phone calls, Vance spends his time with his children and grandchildren, attending sporting events, and dining at some of the great restaurants we have in our Houston area. He loves learning more about the various cultures (through meeting people) in our area. Houston truly is an international community.
