Mission
This page is designed to bring together those members who were a part of the Class of 1989, during our four year span at Van Horn. Although the primary purpose is to attract graduates and classmates from the Class of 1989 and to organize reunions, we would like to see members who attended with us the majority of those years. It is a place to share memories, photos, and generate ideas, as well as create new memories.
Description
Van Horn High School opened its doors in the fall of 1955. Until 2008 the school was a part of the Kansas City, Missouri School District. In November of 2007 voters in both the Kansas City and Independence School Districts agreed to transfer Van Horn along with its five feeder schools into the Independence District.
